Customer: Any natural person purchasing the Services for personal purposes and acting outside the course of a trade, business, craft, or profession.

2SCOPE

This agreement governs the purchase of the “Automated backup and restore services for Git repositories” Services provided by GitSec, in accordance with applicable consumer protection regulations.

These Consumer Purchase Terms apply in addition to the GitSec Terms of Service. In the event of any conflict between these Consumer Purchase Terms and the Terms of Service, these Consumer Purchase Terms shall prevail with respect to consumer purchases.

These Consumer Purchase Terms apply only to Customers purchasing the Services as consumers. If the Services are purchased on behalf of a business, company, organization or other legal entity, these Consumer Purchase Terms do not apply.

3SERVICE & PAYMENT

GitSec provides automated backup, recovery, and related data protection services for Git repositories.

Subscription fees are charged on a monthly or annual basis, depending on the selected plan. Unless expressly stated otherwise, all fees are exclusive of applicable taxes, which will be calculated and charged in accordance with the laws of the Customer's jurisdiction.

Payments are processed through third-party payment providers. GitSec does not store or process full payment card information.

As GitSec provides a digital service, delivery is performed instantly upon successful payment. No physical shipping is required. A purchase is deemed completed once payment has been successfully processed and access to the selected Subscription plan has been granted.

4RIGHT TO CANCEL

The Customer may have a statutory right to cancel a purchase within a specified period under applicable consumer protection laws.

However, where the Services consist of digital content or digital services supplied electronically and performance begins immediately following purchase, the Customer expressly requests and consents to the immediate provision of the Services and acknowledges that, where permitted by applicable law, the right to cancel may be limited or lost once performance has commenced.

Nothing in these Consumer Purchase Terms affects any mandatory consumer rights that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

5CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS

The Customer may cancel a Subscription at any time through the Account settings. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current Subscription term unless otherwise required by applicable law.

Except where required by applicable law, GitSec does not provide cash or monetary refunds for unused Subscription periods. After the paid period ends, the account moves to the free (Freemium) tier and the Buyer’s data is retained for 30 days before permanent deletion, unless the account is reactivated or brought within Freemium limits during that period.*

Where a downgrade or plan change results in unused prepaid value, GitSec may issue non-refundable service credits in accordance with the applicable Cancellation and Return Policy.

6SERVICE CREDITS

Except where required by applicable law, GitSec does not provide cash or monetary refunds. Where a downgrade or other plan change results in an unused portion of a prepaid Subscription period, such unused value will not be refunded in cash and will instead be converted into a non-refundable service credit applied to the Customer's account.

Service credits have no cash value and may not be exchanged, transferred, assigned, or redeemed for money. Service credits will be automatically applied toward future invoices, including any applicable taxes.

Unless a longer validity period is required under applicable law, service credits remain valid for twelve (12) months from the date of issuance and expire automatically thereafter.

7TAXES

Applicable taxes (such as VAT / KDV) are calculated on each invoice in accordance with the tax laws of the Customer’s jurisdiction.* Service credits are tax-inclusive and are applied toward the total amount due on the invoice, including taxes. Where a plan change changes the taxable amount, the corresponding tax is adjusted in accordance with applicable tax legislation.

8PRICE CHANGES

GitSec may modify its pricing from time to time. Any pricing changes will become effective 30 (thirty) days after publication on the GitSec website or otherwise being made available to Customers and will apply from the Customer's next renewal date. Pricing changes will not affect the current Subscription term.
